Research and Curatorial Assistant, Moore Lab of Zoology and Genomics Center
Alana studies the hybridization of two species of Calocitta Magpie-Jays and has been conducting this research since she was a Biology undergraduate at Occidental. She currently assists with collections management and research in the Genomics Center. She additionally has experience in wildlife and domestic veterinary care. Alana is an L.A. native and has enjoyed discovering her love for birding and photographing in the area she grew up in.
